We gerbils are nothing if not fastidious!
Said we were good friends!
Zoë is my other gerbil and she's a grey agouti. She came to keep Emma company because Emma was lonely and now they're great friends. Unlike Emma, who's a bit of a homebody, Zoë loves to get out and about and will happily run around in her ball for hours. When she finally has to go back in her tank she always looks up at me with this "Please can I stay out and play a bit longer?" look. Usually I give in!
